Cairo's Tenth Day of Protests

Today is February the 3rd and there is chaos in Cairo. It has been a long 10 days because there is a huge protests going on between the supporters of President Hosni Mubarak and with the protesters against the president. In the early day of the protests it was peaceful in away and it finally takes a turn for the worst. There have been outbreaks of violence between the supports and protesters. It has been said that 5 protesters have been shot and killed to death. It is believed to be done of the work by Egyptian police in civilian clothing. In the streets of Cairo the current number of injuries is 800 and the vast majorities are head wounds and some are quite fatal. So far the President’s supporters are pushing back the protesters and at one point there were men on horses and even a camel to push back the protestors. It is sheer determination by the protestors because every minute they protest they take heavy gunfire and fire bombs of the President’s followers.

If I were an Egyptian Citizen I would join the protestors. They are fighting for a greater cause. The Citizens of Cairo are fighting for their freedom! The President of Egypt’s time is over; it is time for a turn for the best. I believe that if he were a true president he would step down and honor what his people want. The President is causing death and chaos in his own people and country. I also believe that there should be even more military presence and also more arrests to the people throwing fire bombs. All in all I believe that the president of Egypt should step down his time is over.
